New Briefing Paper on Customs’ Proceedings for the Seizure of Counterfeits in Spain and the EU
Counterfeits cause considerable economic losses to right holders and harm general public interests such as health and safety of consumers.
Regulation 608/2013 provides an effective solution to fight piracy, preventing the entry into the market of counterfeits at both national and EU level.
In order to inform our clients about the procedures established in such a Regulation, we have prepared a “Guide on Customs’ Proceedings for the Seizure of Counterfeits in Spain and the EU” to explain the requirements and different options available to right holders in the EU.
